Jammu, Nov 27: To attract the youth of Naxal affected States towards the mainstream, 10th Tribal Youth Exchange program has been launched by Nehru Yuva Kendra organization under the directions of Govt of India.
In this series, 220 children of Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Odisha and Telangana today visited Group Centre CRPF Bantalab Jammu. The children were apprised of the activities and life of the force personnel. The children seemed to be very excited and enthusiastic while garnering the information.
At the outset, the children were shown a documentary based on CRPF by Ashish Kumar Jha Commandant, PRO Jammu Sector CRPF. The children were also given exposure of the movement and drill of Quick Action Team (QAT) which they saw with great interest.
They also visited various other institutions functioning at Group Centre CRPF complex.
The program was organized in the supervision of SLC Khup DIG CRPF Hiranagar Range who reiterated his dedication in such programs and also assured of all possible help for such causes. Sukhdev Singh, State President Nehru Yuva Kendra highly appreciated the efforts and arrangement of CRPF in organizing the program and also expressed his gratitude for the Force.
At the event, Surendra Prasad Commandant Group Centre CRPF Bantalab, Surendra Mehra Commandant 160 Bn CRPF, Sanjeev Kumar Singh Deputy Commandant Group Centre CRPF Bantalab, Prashant Singh Assistant Commandant Group Centre CRPF Bantalab, Suresh Kumar Assistant Commandant and other officials as well as employees of CRPF and Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan were also present.
