JAMMU, Jan 8: Children’s Welfare Society (CWS) today donated a portable ventilator with trolley to the Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu for the welfare of needy patients.
S. Gurdeep Singh Sasan, CWS president presented the ventilator and trolley donated by Reva Dutta, CWS Vice President from her own saving to GMC Principal, Dr. Shashi Sudan.
Speaking on the occasion Sasan hailed medical professionals who tirelessly handled the pandemic as frontline warriors.
He expressed grief over the demise of many front line workers while serving COVID patients and expressed sympathy with the bereaved families.
The GMC Principal appreciated the efforts of CWS for coming to the rescue of the people on this crucial time and said that this will inspire others too to help the needy.
Sasan appealed to the people to cooperate medical staff of GMC and other hospitals while they perform their duty as per circumstances.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Dr. Vinod Bhutyal, Dr. Dara Singh, Dr. Kundal, Dr. Rehana Qurshid and Dr. Mehak Sasan.
