DODA, Dec 15: Expressing concern over the bad condition of road from Sunwara Chilly to Bhotali Manoo in Sub District Gandoh Bhellessa, the locals there have urged upon the concerned authorities to maintain the road to avoid agitation.
Mohd Hussian, a local of the area said that condition of the road is dilapidated.
Ranjeet Singh, another local expressed similar concern and said that the entire six km road stretch from Sunwara to Bhotali Manoo is under construction for the last several months.
“Due to bad condition of road and lack of proper drainage system, the commuters are facing problems which increases manifolds during rainy season, thus making the roads accident prone,” he said.
The residents accused the authorities for not maintaining the road and showing apathy over the issue.
However, they appealed to the District Development Commissioner Doda to intervene and make necessary action.
