NEW DELHI : Delhiites woke up to a chilly morning with dense fog reducing the visibility to 50 meters and delaying around 20 trains.
“The minimum temperature recorded at 8.30 AM was 11.3 degrees Celsius against yesterday’s minimum of 13.6 degrees Celsius,” a MeT official said.
The humidity recorded was 97 per cent.
According to a Northern Railway official, around 20 north-bound trains were running behind their schedule due to dense fog in the morning hours.
The weatherman has predicted a clear day ahead.
“The sky will be mainly clear and the maximum temperature is likely to settle at 18 degrees Celsius,” the official said.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was recorded at 23.1 degrees Celsius. (AGENCIES)
