China finance ministry prices dim sum bonds in Hong Kong – sources

HONG KONG, Nov 21:  China’s Ministry of Finance returned to Hong Kong’s dim sum bond market on Thursday to sell 10 billion yuan ($1.64 billion) worth of yuan bonds, its second batch this year.
The 5 billion yuan three-year tranche was priced at 2.6 percent, and the 2 billion yuan five-year tranche was priced at 3.09 percent, two sources told Reuters. The pricing was slightly below market expectations.
For the 3 billion yuan two-year tranche, which will be sold to Hong Kong residents from Friday, it was fixed at 2.8 percent, the sources said.
