BEIJING, Dec 15: Passenger trains between Russia and China will resume running on Sunday, December 15, 2024, after a four-year hiatus, Russian Railways reported.
Passenger traffic between the countries was temporarily suspended in 2020 amid the coronavirus pandemic.
From December 15, Russian Railways introduces a new train schedule for three years through 2027. From the same date, international train No. 402/401 Suifenhe – Grodekovo formed by China Railway will resume running.
The train will run daily, its travel time is about an hour and a half.
According to information on the Russian Railways website, the train only has carriages with seats.
