Recent unwarranted and unprovoked attacks on Indian forces in Poonch sector that started with skirmishes and followed by firing from Rocket projectiles, medium and heavy machine guns mortars etc. show how far Pakistan can go to prove its loyalty to China. It cannot be forgotten that China is worried about India’s growing economic and international status. Pakistan is being used as a tool by China to disrupt it.
A few weeks back Chinese army men intruded in Ladakh sector and refused to with draw. On the one hand Chinese go on showing to the world that they desire to have friendly relations with India on the other they continue to use all means to hurt our country. Sadly Indian Government has failed to give a befitting reply to China. It needs to be warned that force will be met with double the force. “To have peace be prepared for a war” goes the saying. However, India believes in settling disputes by negotiating peacefully; but that should not be taken as a sign of weakness.
China is neither willing to settle the border issue, it is also not prepared to stop its projects designed to divert almost all rivers flowing down to India that would deprive millions of Indian and Bangladeshis of water. The waters of Chenab and Ravi are as vital for Pakistan as they are for India. Sadly Pakistan does not realize this fact. Not only that it has allowed free access to Chinese in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (POK).Without bothering to settle outstanding issues with India Pakistan has endangered its sovereignty and practically handed it over to China.
Chinese are constructing rails and modern road links to POK through Pakistan. They are building several dams and canals in POK. Their intentions are clear. They are doing all this to have a fast access to the Indian side in Jammu & Kashmir. This they are doing with the intention of threatening India. They are exporting to the world, including India, cheap electronics and electrical goods. When a customer buys a ‘made in China’ article and asks for its guaranteed functioning the seller promptly says “There is no guarantee for the China made things”.
The reality is that the Chinese are continuously acting to disturb peace either themselves or through Pakistan simply to hide from the world their inhuman act of depriving water to billions of people of India, and Bangladesh and Pakistan.
