There is no way India can stop these incursions other than strengthening defence forces all along the border. Last year Chinese incurions led to a stand off with Indian forces, which somehow did not snowball into a flare-up.
China has been strengthening its infrastructure all along the Indo-China border at a pace which India may fail to catch-up with. The sluggish pace at which road network is build up is a cause of concern. Besides, the failure of Ministry of Defence to utilise whole of Defence Budget for modernisation of defence forces need not be taken lightly.
The belief that power flows from the barrel of a gun, rightly holds true in Indo-China context.
