KATRA, Mar 22: District Police Reasi under Civic Action Programme organised singing competition “Choona Hai Aasman” at Chintamani Katra today. District SP Reasi Vivek Gupta, was chief guest on the occasion. The participants displayed their singing talent and vied for the top honours.
39 individuals participated in the junior category and 18 persons participated in the senior category.
The participants were fully prepared and enthusiastic about the competition and were seen singing to their full potential. In senior category, Chaman Lahri stood first and in junior category male, Sandeep Singh stood first, Nasrulla second, Akash Singh third. In female category, Sikhu stood first, Anuradha second, Shikha Sharma third and in all six students were selected for the next competition at Range Level.
A large number of people of Katra town and adjoining areas attended the programme. Kulbir Singh, Addl. SP Katra distributed prizes to the winners of the competition.
