Chopra elected HFC Board Dir

JAMMU, Apr 3: Mohinder Chopra from Jammu has been elected as Director on the Board of Haryana Financial Corporation (HFC), Chandigarh for a period of three years.
He was elected by the PFC shareholders in the meeting of the Corporation held recently. Chopra is also an independent Director of Punjab Financial Corporation since 1998 to up-to-date with 3 years break. He has around 40 years (collective tenure of directorships of Punjab, Haryana and J&K Financial Corporations which is longest in the financial/banking sector in country.
Chopra has many awards to his credit. He is not only recipient of ‘Best Citizen of India’ award but has also been awarded for his distinguished services in the financial sector. He was also appointed as vice-president of India Red Cross Society (J&K Branch) by the late President of India Shanker Dayal Sharma.
