JAMMU, May 27: Samvedna Society chairman, Keshav Chopra here today organized Aadhar Enrollment Camp for the children rescued by Child Protection team during a drive launched by District Task Force Jammu.
The whole drive was conducted under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Jammu.
The rescued children were involved in begging and child labour and the Camp was inaugurated by District Child Protection Officer, Mamta Rajput.
Speaking on the occasion she said that motive of organizing Aadhar Camp was to ensure proper rehabilitation of these children and these out of school children shall be enrolled in schools for further studies. Rajput said that Aadhar Cards will ensure certain benefits to the rescued children.
Keshav Chopra said that mission of Samvedna Society is to work for the needy sections of the society and by providing Aadhar related services to the rescued children will help them to get proper education and a good life.
Yogita Thakur, Superintendent of the Shelter Home, Operational Manager Aadhar Sewa Kendra Jammu, Peer Mubashir Shah, Operator Rahul Kumar and others were also present in the Camp.
