UDHAMPUR, Jan 8: Aggrieved over the difficulties being faced by them due to worst condition of Chowki to Katwalt road, locals today protested against Public Works Department (PWD) and demanded immediate repair and black topping of the road.
Shouting slogans, the villagers alleged that due to worst condition and potholes on this 8- km long road, Minibuses and buses prefer to avoid plying on this road with the result that children were not able to reach their school while all villagers are facing manifold problems.
No action was taken by the district administration and PWD Department to repair the road and condition despite repeated reminders to them, the villagers said.
