JAMMU, Feb 1: In a rare gesture of honesty, Omkar Bhagat alias Patu, Chowkidar of Durga Nag Trust Community Centre Barnai and his son, Kanan handed over an amount of Rs 24,000 to one Raj Nath Koul who had lost the amount during a function at the community centre yesterday.
Koul and other guests during the function highly appreciated the honesty of the Chowkidar. M L Bhat incharge community Centre announced a reward of Rs 1100 to Chowkidar for his exemplary behavior. The Chowkidar was presented the award in presence of a large gathering.
