JAMMU, Jan 5: Channi Himmat Residents Grievances Redressal Front (CHRGRF) held its General Body meeting, under the chairmanship of Capt. C K Sharma, a renowned social activist, here today.
Apart from common grievances, the meeting discussed the issue of the residents of Channi Himmat pertaining to free hold conferment of ownership rights to the plots allotted to them since long.
The Front unanimously decided to take up the matter to the administrative authorities and the Court of Law through Advocate Suhasni Vasiatha, apart from taking up the mater with newly elected MLA Kavinder Gupta.
The new committee was also framed on the occasion, which included C K Sharma, president; Er Jatinder Kumar, general secretary; B D Sharma, senior vice president; Rajneesh Kapoor, vice president; Advocate Suhasni Vasiatha, legal advisor; Sanjay Saini, office secretary; S L Sharma, treasurer and advisory members including Joginder Sharma, O N Bral, Vinod Mahajan, SS Sharma, K D Verma, N D Sharma, Rajiv Sharma, Vikram Sharma, Jasbir Singh Dutta, Rajiv Sharma and M L Mahajan.
