In a letter written to the Governor, Satya Pal Malik, Association President, Waris Gill stated that in a meeting between Association and the government departments it was decided to celebrate Christmas festival from Dec 24, 2018 to Jan 1, 2019 and all the departments had assured to provide facilities in these days.
Gill regretted that no cleanliness was done in Christian colonies and near Churches in these days and heaps of garbage were seen at all these places.
He further stated that there was even no proper water and power supply during these days and even there was no special ration supply.
He also said that lanes and drains at Churches and Christian colonies were not even repaired.
