JAMMU, May 9: St. Paul Church here today in collaboration with All India Masih Seva Dal (AIMSD) organized an inaugural function for Christian Community Hall in Ward No. 6.
The function was presided over by Vijay Kumar, Presbyter In-charge of St. Paul Church and the newly built hall was inaugurated by Mouhi-Din Choudhary, JMC Councillor of Word No. 6.
The guest of honor on this occasion was Gopal Gupta, Chairman Swachh Bharat Committee and the function was attended by several other dignitaries including Purnima Sharma, former Deputy Mayor; Ritu Choudhary, JMC Councillor Ward No. 7; Jonny William (Retd. IGP); Shoukat Peter, chief patron AIMSD; Esther William, Principal Alexander Memorial School; Marshlaw Sotra, Vice Principal; Arun Kumar Gupta, Ex.En; Vijay Kumar Koul, AEE; Shabir Shaikh, JE; Parvez Ahmed Fazli, contractor and Lavina Kumar, president Women Fellowship.
President AIMSD, Camres David Babloo also spoke on the occasion.
A handout stated that Mouhi Din Choudhary got Rs. 35 lakh released for the work.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Feastus Sotra, chairman AIMSD; William Mattoo, Griffen Gill and others.
