Chrungoo discusses package employees, security issues with Div Com, IGP

SRINAGAR, Nov 8: Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, senior BJP and Kashmiri Pandit leader and incharge Department of Political Affairs and Feedback, J&K-BJP who is on week -long tour to Valley called on Divisional Kashmir, Kashmir, Pandurang Pole and IGP Kashmir, Vijay Kumar and discussed various issues concerning the people with them.
He discussed certain important issues pertaining to the KP employees working in the Valley with Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir in his office chamber. The Divisional Commissioner assured all help at his level and also took note of the issues brought to his notice by the BJP senior leader. He also raised the issue of protection and preservation of Hindu temples and shrines in the Valley with the Divisional Commissioner.
Chrungoo during his meeting with IGP, Kashmir discussed the important issue of security of members of minority community in the Valley.
Chrungoo, who held public meetings at various places said “Article 35A and 370 have been deeply buried in the dust-pit of history. In case anyone tries to hoodwink the opinion of the public in this regard, he or she is simply killing time. No one in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir is now going to be lured by the narrative of the so-called special status or facade of pride in this regard. Enough is really enough”, he added.
“Those who have been harping in the name of Gupkar-Circus are actually cut from both the ground realities and the general public. Their hot and cold responses after their release from detention speak about their psychological status regarding their political future”, he added.
He addressed meetings at Qazigund while on his way to the Vessue Pandit township. He also visited Taragam village in Dooru along with Vijay Raina, Sarpanch-Chowgam where cremation ground of Hindus was illegally sold by some unscrupulous elements and it was later got retrieved and mutated in the revenue records with the active help and intervention of the divisional civil and police administration.
Chrungoo also visited the Vessu township and took stock of the quarters under construction there for the PM package employees. Vijay Raina briefed him about the whole issue regarding the allotment of quarters.
