Chugh asks LG to order probe in Shopian temple fire

JAMMU, Mar 10: BJP National general secretary and the party in-charge of Jammu and Kashmir, Tarun Chugh on Thursday expressed shock over gutting of a temple in Shopian district and demanded a high-level inquiry into the incident.
Chugh said anti-national forces have been trying to disturb law and order situation for communal reasons. He requested the LG to institute a high-level inquiry into the incident.
He said such incidents were being engineered by anti-national forces and they must be probed thoroughly to know the exact designs of subversive forces.
Notably, a temple was gutted in a fire incident, reportedly due to an electric short circuit in Zainapora village of Shopian late last evening.
Chugh said there was sabotage and criminals must be brought to book.
