Chugh, Kavinder meet patients in Gandhi Nagar Hospital

JAMMU, Apr 7: On the occasion of completion of 42 years in public service by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), today on Jan Aushadhi Diwas, senior Party leaders including its national general secretary and in charge J&K and Ladakh UTs visited the Government Hospital, Gandhi Nagar.
Tarun Chugh was accompanied by former Deputy CM, Kavinder Gupta, BJP vice-president, Shakti Parihar, general secretary, Dr. Devinder Manyal, secretary, Arvind Gupta and district president, Vinay Gupta met the patients taking benefit of Jan Aushadhi Yojana and inquired about the well being of all.
BJP leaders led by Tarun Chugh met with the beneficiaries of Jan Aushadhi Kendra, then visited the Orthopaedics Ward to meet the patients suffering with the ailments of bone and joints and have been benefitted by the Ayushman Bharat Golden Cards for getting the better treatment.
Dr. Kanav Padha, Orthopaedic Surgeon informed that till date he has operated upon 11 knee patients and two THR patients with zero expenses of the patients.
BJP leaders also met other patients from various medical departments and inquired about their health.
Dr. Narender Bhatyal informed Tarun Chugh that the hospital is doing various surgeries and other treatments under Golden cards and about 70-80 percent patients are being benefitted with this scheme. The patients who were not having Ayushman Cards their cards were prepared by “Aarogya Mitra” on the spot and were provided benefit.
Tarun Chugh said that BJP Government under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is serving the people with dedicated policies and in the approaching years, the PM has a vision that nobody suffers or dies because of lack of treatment due to lack of funds.
