HIRANAGAR, Jan 11: BJP organized a tribute ceremony on the martyrdom day of 1953 martyrs, Shaheed Bhikhm Singh and Shaheed Bihari Lal, on their Samadhi Sthal at Hiranagar.
Tarun Chugh, National General Secretary BJP & Prabhari J&K BJP, Sat Sharma, President, J&K BJP, Shrikant Sharma, Observer for Organizational elections of J&K BJP, Dr Devinder Kumar Manyal General Secretary J&K BJP & MLA, Dr Bharat Bhushan, Vijay Sharma, & Rajiv Jasrotia, MLAs, Gopal Mahajan, District President, Th Ranjit Singh, DDCs, BDCs and other senior leaders of the party paid floral tribute to the martyrs. Union Minister of State Dr Jitendra Singh also addressed the program virtually.
Tarun Chugh, while paying floral tribute, said that BJP is indebted to all the martyrs who sacrificed themselves for the nation. “We won a small war on 5th August, and have to keep fighting a long battle to fulfil the vision of Thakur Baldev Singh, and Prem Nath Dogra, and to realize the sacrifice of Shyama Prasad Mookherjee. 28 MLAs are the guardians of ideology to save J&K. The 3 families of Nehru, Abdullah, Mufti crusaded for self-rule, but J&K will remain integral part of India till the last breath of last BJP activist,” he said.
Chugh also condemned former CM of UP Akhilesh on questioning the status of PoJK and those who warned of a ‘river of blood’ on 370. He also quoted Ruhullah for his utterances on the repetition of 1947, and 1990. The Modi Government won’t allow such mischief, Chugh said.
Sat Sharma, in his tribute to the martyrs of 1953, Shaheed Bihari Lal and Shaheed Bhikham Singh, said that the Jammu region has never bowed before the tyrants. He said that Jammu has a rich history of sacrifices and the valour for the soil and the principles. He said that these martyrs have stood as the role model for generations and the BJP is principally committed to carrying these virtues in the letter and spirit working on the principle of ‘the Nation First’ policy.
