JAMMU, Apr 5: Independent candidate, Rajiv Chuni contesting on Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary seat has urged the PoK displaced people to vote in his favour.
In a press conference here today Chuni said that BJP and Congress have ditched the PoK displaced community by doing nothing for them.
He asked the displaced people and others to press the button number 18 on EVM against the symbol of ‘Desktop Computer’ to vote him.
Chuni claimed that he got tremendous support from Jammu, Samba and Rajouri areas during his visits there.
He also said that BJP and Congress are triggering polarisation by dividing the people on religious lines for the sake of votes.
“The venom will remain there even after the elections and it will be very difficult to unite the people again,” he claimed.
Prof. N.N Sharma, Vinod Kumar Datta, Pramod Ghai, Ved Raj Bali and others were also present in the press conference.
