SAMBA, Apr 19: A delegation led by Rahul Sahai, Immediate Past Chairman CII, J&K State Council called on Rajinder Singh Tara, Deputy Commissioner Samba today.
Sahai along with other members of the delegation apprised him about the issues being faced by industrial members in Samba and submitted a memorandum for speedy allocation of a site for dumping of industrial hazardous waste. The delegation also requested him to take up the construction of boundary wall of Basantar river adjacent to Industrial Estate on priority basis. Tara assured speedy and timely action on the demands of CII members.
Responding to the offer of CSR Help from CII delegation, Tara said they will revert back with need based requirements soon and expected positive contribution from industry members towards that.
Other members of the delegations were Harbinder Singh, Shantanu Gupta, Gaurav Khajuria, Jaspal Singh, Darshan Lal, Vinay Sharma, Vivek Bhardwaj and Khurshid Dar.
