JAMMU, May 28: Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), J&K chapter organised a digital interaction on the subject `Information Security’ here today.
The on-demand session catered to the specific challenges in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic which has brought the entire world to transition to a virtual work environment.
Rana Gupta, vice president, Asia Pacific Sales and Services Digital Identity and Security- Cloud Protection & Licensing, Thales talked about the data breaches and their threats. He also discussed the root causes of Cyberthreat including Identity theft and unencrypted data and provide insights related to Cryptography for maintaining confidentiality and Integrity.
Riaz Kakroo, Global Head- Information Security, Attra, deliberated on the top technological trends and the Information Security objectives companies need to incorporate. He also focused on cyber threats and top security controls required in this technological era including Malware defenses, Data protection, e-mail and web browser protections etc.
The speakers addressed 49 participants via presentations and interaction and resolved major question banks of participants during question answer session.
