JAMMU, Feb 13: Members of the Citizen Forum Jammu and Kashmir have expressed their objections to the “wrongful arrests” of Sudershan Singh Wazir, HS Raina, and Jagpal Singh.
Addressing media persons here, the Forum members said that the arrested persons have no previous criminal history and they enjoy an untarnished reputation in the society.
“They have been wrongfully implicated in the murder of TS Wazir,” he said.
Forum President Sardar GP Singh claimed that the Delhi Police Crime Branch has been misled by “malevolent interests” who have been attempting to implicate the respected businessmen of Jammu for their own interests.
The Forum members called for a thorough and impartial re-investigation of the case to reveal the truth and bring the real culprits to justice.
They also demanded immediate release of three arrested individuals by dropping all charges against them.
The Citizen Forum J&K also called for a CBI investigation into the case to unmask the real culprits and hold them accountable. They also demanded identification and filling of cases under IPC 182 against those who have tried to mislead the investigating agencies.
