Citizen Forum’s appeal to FM, RBI

JAMMU, Apr 22: Citizen’s Forum president RK Chadha today requested Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman and RBI Governor to rethink moratorium facilities allowed for only those businesses which are running in default not more than 90 days rather than 60 days only.
“No such facility for those businesses which are running in default for the more than 60 days but still maintaining their unit without going into NPA. First RBI had agreed to give 35 % loans extra to these units to run and reorganize their business in lockdown period but now it once again reduced to 10% only”, Chadha said.
We understand that the country is running under financial depression for the last two years, but the small business units and MSME are not responsible for this slowdown. “Banks are denying same facility to those units which have been suffering since demonetization” and haphazard GST is introduced,” he said.
