DEHRADUN, Nov 16: The Closing Ceremony of 13-week-long Territorial Army Officers’ Post Commission training was conducted in prestigious Chetwode Hall of Indian Military Academy here today.
During his address, Commandant, IMA, Gen Manvender Singh, stated the Territorial Army officers in particular, were playing a very important role as citizen soldiers.
He also said they were not only an asset in terms of trained specialists in various fields whose expertise is being optimally exploited, but also acted as ambassadors of the Indian Army in the civil society, highlighting the important role each individual could play towards the safety and security of our Motherland.
The event was concluded by award presentation where in Capt Pradeep Shourya Arya was conferred with the best student. (UNI)
