JAMMU, Mar 12: Describing the act of Health and Medical Education Minister Ch Lal Singh towards a senior lady doctor as ‘obnoxious’, Citizens’ Forum Jammu president R K Chadha has written a letter to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi wherein he has demanded the removal of Minister.
In the letter addressed to Mr Modi Mr Chadha stated that Citizens’ Forum strongly condemn the obnoxious attitude of Minister for Health and Medical Education Choudhary Lal Singh towards a senior lady doctor in Jammu on flimsy grounds. This shows the arrogant behaviour of the person who has been entrusted with a Ministry beyond his comprehension and adequate knowledge. He said on one hand the Prime Minister is advocating respect for ladles and on the other hand his party’s Minister is abusing them.
The letter also states, “The Citizen’s Forum was the first NGO to suggest and advocate the alliance between PDP and BJP in order to bring equitable share to Jammu with dignity and respect and security for the women in the State. “Seeing the stuff provided by the BJP to govern the State we feel ashamed now. Sir, doctors are not petty contractors or labourers the way he is treating them” the letter added.
