JAMMU, Dec 7: City Ration Dealers Association having around 300 members is going to hold elections of its office bearers on December 19.
Addressing joint press conference working president of the Association, Sanjay Abrol and other members disclosed that after the death of Association president, Prabhu Dyal Sharma, Sanjay Kumar Abrol was functioning as working president. Now the Association decided to hold fresh elections of the new office bearers of the City Ration Dealers Association.
They further disclosed that in this connection, senior member Vijay Kumar Sharma was unanimously appointed as District Election Commissioner in the working committee meeting held here the other day.
They further disclosed that process of filing of nominations will strat on December 8 and conclude on December 12 at 5 pm. Scrutiny of the nominations will be held on December 13 from 3 pm to 5 pm, while withdrawal of nomination is allowed on December 14 from 3 to 5 pm.
The final electoral list will be displayed on December 11, 2023 while the elections will be held on December 19 from 10 am to 3 pm at Vishavkarama Sabha at Gurha Bakshi Nagar, Jammu. The result will be declared immediately after the completion of the elections.
