JAMMU, Apr 24: The water supply to several City localities in Jammu shall remain affected due to frequent power cuts for the next two days.
A senior officer of the Jal Shakti/PHE Department informed that due to prevailing cuts and power failure, water supply will remain affected in various area of PHE City Division. These affected areas include, Patta Paloura, Lower Muthi, Muthi Gaon, Durga Nagar, Bantalab, Bharat Nagar, KB Nagar, Friends Colony, Ganga Nagar, Gurha Keran, Sharika Vihar, Lower Roopnagar, Janipur, Bhawani Nagar, Lakar Mandi, Naseeb Nagar, Shant Nagar, Rajpura, Shiv Nagar, New Plot, Manorma Vihar, Upper Roop Nagar, JDA Colony, Chinore, Durga Nagar, EWS Colony, Migrant Colony, Mohinder Nagar, Gole Gujral and Bhori. He said areas of Old Jammu City under water supply from Manda, Parade and Dhounthly stations shall also remain affected.
“All the Corporators of the areas concerned are requested to aware the general public about the disturbance in water supply. Moreover, inconvenience to the general public is regretted,” the official added.
