JAMMU, Feb 28: Civil Society Jammu today organized a discussion on issues and aspirations of people of Jammu with BJP MLAs Kavinder Gupta, Sat Sharma (C.A), A.G Kohli & Rajesh Gupta and other dignitaries at Gandhi Nagar Jammu. The discussion was presided over by Pramodh Kohli (Retd) Chief Justice of Sikkim High Court. Harinder Gupta general secretary was also present .
The program was conducted by Neeraj Anand. C.A Pardeep Gandotra who was the host of the occasion welcomed all the dignitaries and raised many important issues for the development of Jammu region. Other important people who spoke on the occasion included Vinod Sachdeva, Chander Gulhati, Vikrant Kuthiala , Rajinder Mutiyal, Y P Gupta, Rahul Sahay, Vinod Malhotra & Dr Adit Gupta. These speakers raised important issues ranging from New Master Plan, power problem to road repairs, sanitation, parking lots, Railway Station, airport, unemployment & need for IT sector & industrialization.
All the MLAs discussed various matters in detail and assured the participants to address the issues to the best of their ability. They felt need for regular interactions between civil society and elected representatives. They appreciated the efforts of CA. Pardeep Gandotra & Vinod Sachdeva in organizing such a wonderful program.
