JAMMU, Feb 28: In order to ensure speedy disposal of old cases, Chief Justice of J&K and Ladakh High Court Justice N Kotiswar Singh has assigned 161 cases to eight Judges.
As per the order issued by Shahzad Azeem, Registrar General, these cases pertain to the period from 1995 up to 2005 and Chief Justice wants all these cases to be disposed of on priority.
The cases have been assigned to Justice Tashi Rabstan, Justice Sanjeev Kumar, Justice Sindhu Sharma, Justice Sanjay Dhar, Justice Puneet Gupta, Justice Javed Iqbal Wani, Justice Mohammad Akram Chowdhary and Justice Rahul Bharti.
