CJ for increasing strength of Judges in HC

JAMMU, Dec 19: Chief Justice of J&K and Ladakh High Court Justice N Kotiswar Singh today stressed for increasing the sanctioned strength of Judges by six.
Speaking in a function organized by Bar Association here, the Chief Justice said, “ever since I was transferred to J&K as Chief Justice, I have been requesting for increasing the sanctioned strength of Judges in High Court of J&K and Ladakh”, adding “I have even formally written to the concerned quarters for increasing strength by 3 Judges each in Jammu and Srinagar wings of the High Court”.

“I hope sanctioned strength will be increased”, he said, adding “if this happens several eligible members of the Bar will get chance for elevation”.
