JAMMU, Apr 11: Chief Justice of J&K High Court today constituted a committee to oversee the progress of the cases arising under the J&K Pre-conception and Pre-natal Sex Selection/ Determinations (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 2002.
According to the order, the committee is comprised of Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir, Justice Ali Mohammad Magrey and Justice Tashi Rabstan.
The committee has been constituted pursuant to Supreme Court directions in writ petition titled Voluntary Health Association of Punjab Versus Union of India and others.
