JAMMU, Nov 14: Chief Justice of State High Court, Justice M M Kumar today inaugurated Munsiff Court at Nobra while as Justice Mohammad Yaqoob Mir inaugurated Alternate Dispute Redressal Centre at Leh through inexpensive mode—video conferencing.
Justice Ali Mohd Magrey, Justice Tashi Rabstan, Principal District and Sessions Judge Leh, Kishore Kumar along with other Judicial Officers and President Bar Association Leh attended the inaugural function.
On the occasion, Chief Justice highlighted the importance of the ADR mechanism and the results such centres have yielded till date. The Judicial Officers were impressed to make full use of these centres in order to guide and help general public to settle their dispute through alternate redressal system.
The ADR centre has been constructed at a cost of Rs 77.91 lakh and the Munsiff Court building Nobra has been constructed at a cost of Rs 1.26 crore.
