JAMMU, Nov 28: Supreme Court (SC) Advocate Neeta Verma was honoured with the Law Day Honour by the Chief Justice of India (CJI), Sanjeev Khanna, for her book ‘Bharatvarsh Ka Etihasik Aur Vartman Kanoon’.
She was awarded during the Supreme Court’s Constitution Day celebration. The event was graced by the presence of Chief Justices and judges from the Supreme Court, High Courts, and other courts. Supreme Court Bar Association president Kapil Sibal was also in attendance.
Advocate Neeta Verma’s book highlights the administrative functions of Jammu and Kashmir, and provides significant legal insights for the public, showcasing commendable work in this area.
In her acknowledgment speech, Advocate Neeta Verma dedicated this honour to her family, her mentor Jayant Kumar, the administrative officers of J&K and the media.
Neeta Verma is actively serving as the State president of the Human Rights Mission in J&K.
