JAMMU, Aug 29: Chief Justice of India N V Ramana today visited the holy cave shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi and paid obeisance at the sanctum sanctorum.
On his arrival at Jammu Airport, the Chief Justice of India was received by Chief Justice of J&K and Ladakh High Court Justice Pankaj Mithal. They also had a brief discussion on the functioning of the High Court and Subordinate Courts in both the UTs.
At Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan, Ramesh Kumar, Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board received the Chief Justice of India. The CEO mentioned about various infrastructure development initiatives taken and further arrangements being put in place by the Shrine Board for continuously improving the facilities for the visiting pilgrims.
