CJM denies bail to owner of Dutta Finance company

JAMMU, June 7: Chief Judicial Magistrate Jammu, S R Gandhi has rejected the bail application of Gurbachan Singh, son of Revail Singh of Nanak Nagar, the owner of Dutta Finance company, who was arrested by the Crime Branch for allegedly duping the innocent people of about Rs 20 crore.
After hearing CPO Sanjay Kohli for the State, CJM observed that accused has duped  thousands of innocent people and an amount of Rs 20 crore is stated to have been involved in the case. “Keeping in view the gravity of offence and the interest of public, the accused person is not entitled to bail at this stage”, the CJM observed and rejected the bail application.
