JAMMU, May 20: District Legal Service Authority today opened a Legal Aid Clinic at Jagti Migrant Camp, which was inaugurated by Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sumit Gupta, who is also Chairman of the Tehsil Legal Committee.
Senior Munsif and Member Secretary District Legal Service Authority, Adnan Syed, Camp Commandant and Tehsildar Kapil Kant Khajuria, Head Assistant Tehsil Legal Committee Jammu and a number of Kashmiri migrants were present on the occasion.
At Legal Aid Clinic, the District Legal Service Authority will provide a volunteer for registration of the legal problems, being confronted by the camp dwellers, and referring the same to Expert Committee.
Speaking on the occasion, CJM listened to various problems related to health, sanitation, water and power supply, school staff etc and assured legal remedies of the same.
