CK Nayudu Trophy: Rain-hit J&K-Tripura match ends in a draw

SRINAGAR: The four-day match of all-India under-23 CK Nayudu Trophy between Jammu and Kashmir and Tripura ended in a draw after rain washed out the third day and majority of the fourth day’s play today.
J&K got three points while the Tripura received one. Rain washed away the third day’s play yesterday and delayed five hours game of today due to wet outfield.
The match started at 1430 hrs and the hosts by the end of the day’s play today scored 365 for five, taking a lead of nine runs. Only 26 overs were bowled today in which the hosts scored 168 runs and lost three wickets.
J&K had resumed its inning from 197 for two. J&K’s Abhinav Puri scored 120 of 266 balls with the help of 12 fours while U Nissar 74 and Pranav Gupta 72.
