JAMMU, Oct 8: Amreek Singh and his brothers have clarified on the news item titled “BJP leader, 2 others attacked over land dispute” published in October 7 edition of this paper.
They said that alleged assault by them on other party is concocted and has no basis. Advocate Amreek Singh claimed that his brother Beant Singh was doing the leveling of land by JCB after getting the order in his favour from the court of Sub Judge Jammu and neither he nor any of his brothers was involved in any assault case.
He urged police and revenue authorities to amicably solve the matter so that his family which is living in the vicinity since partition having repute is not harassed.
