DODA, Mar 31: A class 9th pass-out minor girl committed suicide by hanging herself with ceiling fan at her residence in village Sharota, falling under the jurisdiction of Thathri police station.
As per police sources, a girl namely Kajal (16), daughter of Budhi Singh, a resident of village Sharota committed suicide by hanging herself with ceiling fan at her residence.
The girl had recently passed her class 9th examination and was about to take admission in class 10th.
Finding her hanging, family members informed the police and shifted the body to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Thathri, where after conducting autopsy, the body was handed over to family members for last rites.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Thathri police station and investigation started to ascertain the reason behind such extreme step.
