Class work resumes at KU

SRINAGAR, July 1: The class work at Kashmir University (KU) resumed today after week-long gap.
A KU official said that all the departments of the varsity resumed their work and students also attended their classes. “Everything was normal and there was no disturbance,” he added.
The class work was suspended last week by the varsity officials following eruption of violence inside campus against arrest of a student by police over his alleged militant links.
The student, Muzamil Farooq Dar, was released on bail yesterday.
