JAMMU, Dec 15: Senior BJP leader and JMC Councilor from Ward 41, Sanjay Kumar Baru inaugurated newly constructed deep drain and initiated paver tiles work at Anand Vihar Lane No-1 along with BJP Mandal president Talab Tillo, Keshav Chopra, district vice-president Jaideep Singh Sambyal and SC Morcha district president Chaman Lal Bhagat.
Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Kumar Baru said that it was a long pending demand of the inhabitants, which has been met today. He said that the mission behind this was to provide a conducive and clean atmosphere to the society. He said that he took up repair and construction works of many lanes and drains and now majority of them were constructed which has helped a lot in achieving the mission of Smart City.
Baru stated that efforts are still being made to provide every possible assistance to the masses at their doorsteps for which he appealed to the inhabitants to contribute in keeping their surroundings neat and clean. He also stated that providing a neat and clean environment is the motive of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi led Central Government and wherever required channelizing of deep drains will be done to provide best infra to the public.
Baru said clean and well-maintained lanes make basic building blocks for making Jammu as Smart City. He said on the same lines, construction of drain in Anand Vihar Lane No.1 has been completed and today work of paver tiles started in the lane. The estimated cost of both the development works is Rs 21 lakh, he added.
Keshav Chopra appreciated the continuous development works being taken by the local councilor and said that BJP believes in the policy of development for all.
Local residents appreciated the pro-active approach of the local Councilor and extended gratitude for his continuous efforts taken to improve the ward amenities.
BJP leaders Jatin Sethi, Rakesh Sharma, Bubesh Sharma, Jatinder Khajuria, Vinod Wazir, K.L Sharma, Lokesh Bhagat, Ashish Mangotra, Kewal Sharma, Rakesh Matoo, Kulbhushan Gupta, Vijay Kumar Sharma and others were present.
