NEW DELHI : It was a bright, sunny day today but icy winds swept the city bringing the minimum temperature down to 7.9 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season’s average.
A bit of early morning dense fog brought down the visibility at 400 meters at 5.30 AM disrupting rail operations with 24 trains delayed.
However, visibility improved considerably to 700 meters at 8.30 AM.
The MeT has predicted mainly clear skies during the day with moderate to dense fog in the morning.
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 16 degrees Celsius.
Humidity in the air was recorded at 94 per cent at 8.30 AM.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature settled three notches below the season’s average at 18.3 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was recorded at 10 degrees Celsius. (AGENCIES)
