Clerical body seeks removal of pay anomalies

JAMMU, Sept 29: Provincial Clerks Association has urged upon the State Government to remove pay anomalies of the cadre.
The Association affiliated to the All J&K Low Paid Employees Federation led by veteran trade unionist, Abdul Majid Khan, lauded the step of the Government for  creation of a number of posts of Section Officers and Head Assistants in Civil Secretariat.
Krishan Singh president and Om Parkash Sharma, general secretary of the Association stressed for the reorganization of clerical cadre in the offices outside the Civil Secretariat by creation of posts of Administrative Officers  and private secretaries in the offices of HODs. They also demanded removal of pay anomalies in the cadre.  The trade union leaders also demanded implementation of 7th Pay Commissioner report and enhancement of Medical Allowance of the employees and pensioners from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 per month.
