Clerical cadre for removal of pay anomalies

JAMMU, Sept 19: Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association in its meeting here, today held under the chairmanship of Babu Hussain Malik its State president has urged the Government to call all the representatives of Employees Joint Action Committee, Government Employees Joint Action Committee (GEJAC) and other associations of employees fraternity before coming to any final conclusion and not to sign any agreement with any other organization till these employees organizations are involved in negotiations, otherwise the entire working  will come on streets.
In a statement issued here today, Mr Malik said the meeting in one voice has condemned the State Government for deliberately betraying from the commitment made between the employees and the Government on March 10, 2008, February 19, 2009, May 14, 2010 and September 15, 2011 wherein it was promised to fulfill all the pending demands of the employees including removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre but nothing has been done till date. He described the Pay Anomalies Committee made by the Government as an eye wash just to befool the clerical cadre.
He demanded that the agreed demands including grade of 4000-6000 for junior assistant 4500-7000 for senior assistant/steno typist/JSA, 5500-9000 for the HA/junior stenographer/ Sts Assistant, increase in Medical Allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 and formation of policy for regularization of daily rated workers/ casual labourers/consolidated laborers and adhoc employees.
