JAMMU, Feb 18: The Jammu and Kashmir All Departments Clerical Staff Association in a general body meeting held here today elected new office bearers and also projected the issues of the cadre.
During meeting held here today under the chairmanship of BH Malik, Vikas Sharma was unanimously elected as president for Jammu district unit of the Association, in presence of senior Trade Union leaders Sewa Ram and Munish Sharma (Provincial head).
Rajinder Singh was elected as vice president, Yashpaul Sharma – general secretary, Mohammed Sadiq – secretary, Sham Lal -publicity secretary, Harvinder Singh — joint secretary and Iftikhar Laiqkat Bhatti as advisor of the Association.
The newly elected body and other trade unionists present on the occasion appealed to the Lt Governor Manoj Sinha and J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to implement landmark judgment of the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) Double Bench vide TA No 861 of 2020 dated 4-10-2024 holding of DPC of various cadres in different departments of Jammu and Kashmir.
They also demanded enhancement of Medical Allowance and HRA in favour of all employees, restoration of two additional increments on clearing Secretariat Assistant Course which has been stopped vide SRO-333. restoration of Old Pension Scheme and release of withheld two annual increments during their probation period in favour of SRO-202 employees in letter and spirit and remove the pay anomalies in the clerical cadre– Junior Assistants/ SeniorAssistants/ Head Assistants/ Junior Stenographer as early as possible.
