Clerical Staff Association resents unfair approach towards Jammu employees

JAMMU, June 14: Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association today expressed its reservations over inviting only a selected lot of self styled employees leaders from Kashmir province for discussion with the Chief Minister on June 3 at Srinagar.
“We condemn the State Government for deliberately maintaining a silence in the said meeting over the already agreed issues of the Clerical cadre employees, like removal of their pay anomalies,” said the Association leaders while addressing a press conference, here today.
While explaining, they said that the Government had made different agreements with the Clerical cadre employees from time to time wherein it was promised to fulfill all the demands including removal of pay anomalies.
We appeal to the Chief Minister not to discriminate with the leadership of Jammu division otherwise the employees of this province would have no option other than to resort to agitational path for getting their genuine rights, they added.
On the call give by J&K State Government Employees Joint Action Committee, the Association leaders announced to hold a protest demonstration at all the district headquarters on June 17 in support of the demands like removal of pay anomalies, release of pending 10 percent DA installment in cash, enhancement of Medical Allowance,  regularization of daily wagers, etc.
Those who addressed the press conference, included Khurshid Ahmad Dewani, Javeed Ahmad Akhoon, Bharat Bhushan, Anil Kesar, Seva Ram Rathore, Meenakshi Sharma, Vipan Kumar, Yashpal Sharma, Vikas Sharma, Jaswant Singh, Munish Sharma, Uday Singh Pathania, Pawan Kumar, Mohd Iqbal, Javed Ahmad, Umer Jan, Rangil Singh, Lekh Raj, Ajay Khajuria and Ramesh Chander.
