Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, Jan 7:  Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh All Department Clerical Staff Association has appealed Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and Finance Minister  H A Drabu for their personal intervention to do justice with  the cadre by removing their pay anomaly.
The appeal was made during a meeting of the Association, held here today under the chairmanship of  State president Babu Hussain Malik.
Participants of the meet,  in one voice, appealed to the Government to implement the High Court judgement vide SWP No.3058/2015, MP No. 01/2015 in letter and spirit regarding removal of pay anomalies of the clerical cadre at the earliest. They said that the formation of a committee vide order number 420 GAD of 2016, dated 21-04-2016,  was just another attempt by the Government    to befool the clerical cadre and delay procedure  as no specific timeframe  has been given to the committee to submit its report.
The Association lamented that the Government was not removing pay anomalies of poor clerical cadre whereas the wages of legislators are increased from time to time without any financial constraints.
During the meeting, the Association also highlighted some other demands of the clerical cadre, which include DPC of all the department after every six months, implementation of 7th Pay commission, , increase of Medical Allowance and regularization of daily wagers.
The meeting was attended by Bharat Bhushan, Khurshid Ahmad Dewani, Ashok Singh, Javed Akhoon, Yash Pal Sharma, Meenakshi Sharma, Jaswant Singh, Ansuya Gupta, Seva Ram Rathore, Munish Sharma, Farida Bano, Vikas Chander, Mohd Lateef, Vikas Sharma, Mukhtyar Singh, Bharat Bushan Kotwal and others.
