JAMMU, Aug 4: The clerical cadre employees working in various departments have demanded removal of pay anomalies in their cadre.
In a meeting of the J&K Govt Employees & Workers Joint Action Committee held at Srinagar the other day, the trade unionists urged upon the Government to remove pay anomalies of clerical cadre, release pending 6 % DA of employees, enhance Medical allowance from Rs 300 to Rs 2000 per month and ensure merger of 50 % DA in basic pay. They also demanded regularization of daily rated employees.
Prominent among those who attended meeting included Babu Hussain, Bharat Bhushan, K A Dewani, Sheikh Ajaz, Seva Ram Rathore and others.
